September 25 - Whatcom County Master Gardeners - Lecture "Plant Hunting in Asia".
October 2 - Whatcom Horticultural Society at the Squalicum Boathouse in Bellingham 7 pm. "New and Unusual plants for Northwest Gardens" We will be selling a few choice plants as well as lecturing. Happy to bring up special orders for those attending.
October 5 - Fall Bulb and Plant Sale at the Arboretum's Visitor's Center in Seattle. We'll bring some goodies. We will not be at the members only sale on Saturday.
January 14 2009 7:30pm - Winter Wanderlust - Ft Worden Wheeler Theater Pt Townsend. "Plant Hunting in China" Lots of new images from our various trips. This should be fun since we are on home turf and it is all friendly faces. Expect some odd digressions and silliness. $5.00 donation benefiting Olympic Youth Hostel and Jefferson Trails Coalition.
Feb 18-22 Northwest Flower and Garden Show Seattle - Look for us in the Plant Market and as usual we will be offering many plants which we won't offer at the nursery because they will get snapped up up at the show. A little known secret which we will share with you web prowlers is that we do bring in special orders for folks to the show. Sometimes it is hard to get to Port Townsend or sometimes folks can't make it to the show until the weekend and the rarer plants in short supply are often gone by then so this guarantees availibility. Don't spread it around that we do this because it a bit of a logisitical nightmare but we prefer that to crestfallen expressions on Sunday when the shelves are a bit bare.
